Automatically Collected Information
We use "cookies" and other automatic collection technologies (such as web beacons and tags) that are set by us or third parties to enhance your experience and gather information about your interaction with our Website and other Online Media. For example, we collect information such as the dates and times that you visit our Website, the page you view, referring / exit URLs, your browser type, and the number of clicks on our Website. We also collect information about the devices you use to access the Website, including your device model, IP address, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network operator information. We may place web beacons or pixels in emails or other Online Communications that track your opening of the communications, the impressions and requests you may make or items you may click on. Please refer to the "DO WE USE 'COOKIES' AND OTHER TARGETED ADVERTISING?" section below for information about cookies and other automatic collection technologies and how we use them.

From Third Party Partners
Our third-party partners may provide information about you to us, including information about your product or service interests. How the third parties collect information with you and share information with us is subject to the privacy policies that govern their websites or other information collection method.

DO WE USE "COOKIES" AND OTHER TARGETED ADVERTISING?

Yes. Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer’s or device’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables a website’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information about your device and online activities. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current Online Media activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about Online Media traffic and your interaction with us so that we can offer better experiences and tools in the future.

We may also use electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes known as clear gifs) that allow Havertys, and its third-party providers or affiliates, to count and track users who have visited certain portions of the Website or interacted with our Online Communications. Web beacons collect only limited information about your device or online activity and do not collect any of your personal characteristics like name, age, or address. For example, Havertys uses a type of web beacon known as a “retargeting pixel,” which will allow users to receive targeted advertising from Havertys via certain social media websites, including Facebook.

Our third-party service providers may also place and administer cookies, tags and web beacons on our Online Media and otherwise track clicks, impressions, page views, header data, user identifiers, unique viewer counts, and similar interaction data based on your interaction with our Online Media. They may also collect your anonymized information and perform website analytics to aid in making our Online Media (and the third parties' services) easy to use, to proactively identify and correct error conditions, for product and service research, to provide more relevant advertising and content to you, for general analytics and reporting to their customers, and for other lawful purposes. We may use and reproduce work product created by such third parties based upon web analytics data or other similar data collected to facilitate the serving of data or content in connection with providing you with more relevant advertising and content.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies or visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org for more information. If you turn cookies off, you may not have access to some features that make your experience with us more efficient and some of our services may not function properly.

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, in order to better understand your use of our Website and how we can improve them. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit a website, what pages you visit when you do so, and what other websites you used prior to coming to such website. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit a website, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with your personal information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit a website, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of our Website, to prepare reports on its activities, and to share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected on our Website to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. To more fully understand how Google may use the data it collects on our Website, please review “How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps,” (located here or any successor URL).

Your interaction with our Social Media may also involve cookies, beacons and other automated collection technologies that are controlled by the providers of the Social Media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Havertys does not control what information those providers collect or what they do with your information. However, those platforms may share information with Havertys that they collect based on your interaction with our locations on those Social Media platforms. See the section titled “WHAT ABOUT INFORMATION COLLECTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS?” for more information.

If you would like further information about the cookies we use, please contact us as provided below.
