COVID-19 Overview
The safety of our customers, communities and team members has been our top priority since the start of the pandemic, and as mask mandates change and more and more Americans receive their vaccines, we are updating our safety protocols to better reflect our nation’s mindset towards COVID-19. You can read about our updated cleaning and safety protocols below. We will continue to operate our business under the principles of integrity, trust and determination enacted by our founder J.J. Haverty in 1885. Today, and always.
Our Stores
Protection
All team members, including those who have been vaccinated, will wear a mask if requested when interacting with customers or fellow team members. Out of respect to the communities we operate in, we will also continue to honor local mask mandates on a store-by-store basis. Masks will be made available to customers upon request.
Social Distancing
Our team members will maintain 3 feet of social distance, and, for the foreseeable future, we will be a handshake-free zone.
Cleaning and Sanitization
Before we open our doors each morning, every store undergoes thorough cleaning and sanitizing. Our team members will continue using hand sanitizer, along with regular and frequent handwashing
Elderly and at risk customers

Our Delivery
From the beginning of the delivery route to the end, we are following necessary safety precautions and letting you choose your preferred delivery location. Contactless delivery is available upon request.
Protection
All delivery team members, including those who have been vaccinated, will wear a protective mask if requested, fresh gloves and shoe covers when entering a customer’s home.
Cleaning and Sanitization
Before and after every delivery, our trucks are sanitized. Every tool and piece of equipment that is used is sanitized Before and after delivery.
Social Distance
Delivery team members will maintain 3 feet of social distance at all times. Remote customer signature will be accepted.
