Top-Grain Style
Austin-native Emily knew that she wanted to create a sophisticated and modern living room that was inspired by her childhood roots. However, making all of those design decisions by herself proved to be overwhelming. So, she contacted her local Havertys and was paired with a talented Havertys Design Expert. Together they worked to create a design that expressed Emily’s fashionable and unique personality. With a beautiful blend of top-grain leather, metal accents and an earth-toned color palette, Emily now has the stylishly comfortable entertainment space that she has always wanted.
Leather Lounging
When designing her living room, Emily decided to anchor the space with a statement leather piece. A buttery smooth, top-grain leather sofa in a warm butterscotch shade solidifies the earthy tones featured throughout the room. Loving the leather look, Emily added in the matching chair and a half to provide extra seating for family and friends. The mix of leather pieces and metal accents throughout the room creates the perfect combination of organic and man-made design.
Chicly Customizable
Wanting a one-of-a-kind piece, Emily fully customized our Lillian chair with tapered legs in a Cosmopolitan finish and track arms. The hexagon patterned Curio Pewter fabric on the chair adds dimension and interest to the space’s design while a brass-finished garden stool provides extra table space. A Modern Mix
When deciding what coffee table best fit her modern style, Emily used two of our Keaton coffee tables side-by-side. With their beautiful glass tops, practicality of bunching and convenient shelving, these tables beautifully blend with the rest of the living room while providing a place to showcase Emily’s personality through her décor.
A Shade Ahead
Knowing the importance of lighting, Emily chose our Orion lamp. With its frosted satin grey glass and polished nickel base, the piece subtly refracts light and contrasts well against the darker tones found in the leather sofa and chair. The lamp’s subtle curves and metallic base also pair well with the other metal accents found in the room.
Nuanced Neutrals
The versatile abstract design of our Reconfigured Wall Décor canvases allows them to be hung to suit your space. Side-by-side these canvases create a curated look while the neutral palette of the wall décor ties in with the rest of the space’s color scheme.
