Balancing Act
As she transitioned from a large house to a smaller, more compact home, Emily worried that her design instincts would fall flat in rooms that required careful choices and limited color schemes. So, she contacted her local Havertys and was paired with a talented H Design Consultant who knew just how to make small-scale living feel grand, tasteful and perfectly harmonious. Her unique selection of furniture and décor blends form and functionality for a dynamic, intimate space with an intriguingly spacious feel.Flawless functionality
Instead of getting carried away by the room’s now adventurous spirit, Emily’s H Design Consultant turned her attention to sleek, functional pieces that wouldn’t distract from her more glamorous design choices. Thankfully she had a lot to choose from with a variety of accent tables that range from gorgeous statement pieces to functional designs with convenient drawers and shelving. Her first choice, our Keaton coffee tables, offers the beauty of glass tops and the practicality of bunching and moving with ease for versatility and growth in a small space.
Ease to please
Antique brass bar pulls and a macchiato finish make our Archer entertainment console visually pleasing, but Emily’s H Design Consultant recognized its value as a modern necessity with adjustable shelving, room to store wine and magnetic touch sliding doors. She also recognized the importance of having a piece with enough storage space to prevent clutter and chaos. Our array of entertainment consoles made the process that much easier with features, finishes and silhouettes to suit any lifestyle. The dramatic wall art display leaves no room for a traditional television setup.

Darling Duos
Our Katherine matching chair sets the tone with a bold, striped fabric that layers blue dashes over a red base for an electric color palette that also captures shades of orange and purple. This piece pairs with Emily, her surroundings and her textured garden stool to create chic, complementary duos that resonate with one another to inspire an open, chatty mood. Emily’s H Design Consultant was certain that the signature look of track arms and tapered legs would provide the foundation for a chair that can be both adventurous and inviting. A slim, metal standing lamp delivers the finishing touch. In Frame
Our Jenna sofa is styled in platinum grey fabric to make it a cozy, neutral companion to our eye-catching Katherine matching chair. With a framing of orchids and subtle greenery, the wall art is intended to spark tranquility, introspection and meaningful conversation around its variety of themes and its uniquely shared space. The largest canvas is partially hidden to create a layered, library-like effect. Emily’s H Design Consultant wanted the mirror to serve a dual purpose as beautiful décor and as a symbol of emotional reflection.Talk about an eye for design! My H Design Consultant knew just what to pick and just how to organize it. Even with less space, I’ve never felt more at home.
